I am happy to announce here, that since recently, the family of books, dedicated on the EJB 3.1 topic, has grown, and now welcomes the fresh new EJB 3.1 cookbook by Packt Publishing. Up to now, only the last edition from the popular series by O'Reilly was being a serious literature source on the subject. Now, Packt's offering is a promising recipe focused book, which covers a variety of useful and real-world EJB scenarios. Explained in details and accompanied by descriptive screenshots, they will guide you through the most important and essential EJB techniques that one has to master, and give you a decent insight on what's new in EJB 3.1. The book is a fresh breath of air for all Java EE fans that would love to dive into the new version of the enterprise Java platform. Within the examples, you will find how EJB 3.1 modules integrate with other parts of a full Java EE 6 application, which is another fascinating feature of this enjoyable read.
This book is a wonderful effort from Packt, that just makes me hope that Java EE 6 related books from them are just starting to come out! I would love to see a CDI dedicated book, or a Servlet 3.0 one.
